The club held it's annual Open Day on Sunday 24th April, giving people the chance to try the game of bowls. The weather was good, which always helps, and it was very pleasing to see that over 20 people came along to have a go. Members were on hand to explain what to do and to give guidance and encouragement. Tea and cakes were provided and, by all accounts, those who had a go enjoyed it and had some fun. Initial feedback suggests that many of those who came along will be coming back for coaching sessions and we look forward to hopefully welcoming some new members soon.

If you were unable to make it to the Open Day but would like to give bowls a try then we will be very happy to see you on any weekday evening after 5pm. Just come along with some flat-soled shoes and we will make you most welcome. Alternatively you can contact us via this website and we can arrange a suitable time for you to come down.
